Hulu
So the networks are going to try to outdo YouTube, or essentially Google, with Hulu. Good luck with that. They will screw it up. Like they every other time they try to do something outstide of the box. FOX is about the only one I would half expect to succeed. So unless this is a third party that brought this idea to the networks, it will come out big and suck in 9 months horribly.
They will over advertise. Navigation will suck. I will be pleasantly surprised if they allow embedding. They will promise a video at a certain time and miss it. ABC was actually pretty good at releasing things though.
I expect this to be a huge waste of money. Any bets?

So why would FOX be the one you would half-expect to succeed? What would make them any better than the other networks?

I think FOX is closer to the audience than the Big Three. They move quicker and try more interesting ideas. With MySpace and other ventures I think they would do the best.
