Obviously this is something that YouTube could have done a long time ago. MySpace has been able to stop protected material.
YouTube has been hanging on to the idea that it is user placed content and that holds them harmless. But if the technology is out there and they have been asked to remove something and then it pops up again a la the UFC stuff I watch, I don’t see how they can stand innocent. YouTube will be boring with out it and if Hulu gets going at any kind of speed, the landscape will change.
