I am constantly shocked at how little the fighters in the UFC get paid. The highest payout for the live Fight Night on Spike was $32,000. Check out UFCmania.com to see all of them.
Now I understand that they don’t get the same viewership/income ratio as the pay-per-view but these fighters are getting a very small amount for what may be only one fight in a year or it could be their last if they didn’t show well. And this isn’t the hope of one day making $10 million like Boxers. I don’t think a fighter in the UFC has made more than a million dollars in one fight.
I guess you should do what you love and money doesn’t matter.
