When I first saw this I thought it was a clever title for a small snafu. No it wasn’t. They actually “forgot” their kid and told firefighters about him 20 minutes after they got out. either this is a case of the people who love their pets so much or they were trying to kill the kid. Either way it is sad and they are being brought up on charges.

This sounds like an episode of CSI. Of course, it almost always turns out to be murder on the show.
