I went and did the fix that they suggested but it just reminds me how crappy a small percentage of the populace is. I love gmail and I just recently found out about it. It is as good as the spam email account I paid for the last two years.
Apparently they can slip in an easy script which sets up a forwarding filter to forward any email they set the keywords into. So, set up “password” and any time you have a password sent to you from an account when you forget it, they get it.
Dangerous. I love gmail and the calendar that fits with it seemlessly. I recommend you check it out but maybe install the No Scripts while you use Firefox, which I also recommend.
