Apple is a victim of their own success. They hyped and pushed this thing and then tried to give AT&T a contract. Once again Apple is screwing themselves by limiting themselves. They lost to Gates and Microsoft because Microsoft let others use his programs and essentially everyone else built up the market for him. That is why Microsoft owns the PC market regardless of which product is better.
They did it again by limiting this to one carrier. So as most of you know, the geeks out there have figured out how to make the iPhone work with any carrier. Obviously Apple and At&T took issue with this. So they created a update that would render an altered iPhone useless.
Of course the geeks won and have hacked and fixed that within a short time.
This is the only phone that has had all of this hacker attention. Now they will have to spend money to fight the hackers for the forseeable future because they went with exclusitivty.
