I have always been mildly annoyed that my friend had a thirty second skip on his remote for the DVR player on his satellite. When I later got comcast I couldn’t find any similar function. You can easily go back by 15 seconds.

Then today, Tim Riley of the Rick Emerson teased us that he had the code to make such a thing happen but wouldn’t share it.

A quick internet search and voila! I haven’t tested this to make sure it works or blows up your home. I will try to remember to update later if I see that it works.
