I think I just changed my stance on bike helmets. I also now understand the phrase my dad used to say about be knocked “ass over tea kettle.’
This picture was taken by a city official in Monterrey. I bet those riders wish he had been yelling, “Mira! Mira!” instead of taking photos. The driver was drunk and fallen asleep…in the middle of the day.
I have driven in Mexico a lot and will say that drivers there are better than the majority you find here. But stupid and drunk happens anywhere. Edgar Ponce was struck by a drunk (video) driver while filming a commercial on a motorcycle.
