Brock Lesnar is lazy. He is what Bob Sapp wanted to be; mobile, athletic and dominating. Brock got off an amazing shot but never duplicated it. He played the role of bully by sitting on top of Heath and beating away. One month of jits training should have been enough for him to choke out Heath.
He has had many months to figure at least the basic submission that even casual observers of MMA would have at attempted. If he can’t finish a fight from someone taking the fetal position all he will be is a blunt force weapon like Tank and Butterbean, even kimbo could have finished better in my mind if given the same openings.
His ridiculous WWE-style taunts were pathetic considering how his overall pathetic abilities. He never landed another big punch in the stand up. I don’t like the stupid taunts of the victor but usually they are warranted by the display of abilities. Dana better get him calmed down or Brock will be the next Tito but with less talent. He should also be fined for the push on Herring at the end of round one after the bell.
Kimbo is better for the sport than Brock. Kimbo has always said he needs more training. You can see him improving. I did not see that from Brock who may very well become the next Bob Sapp.
This was by far the best overall card in a long time and it lived up to my expectations. I still think that GSP should have finished the fight in the first round. But Fitch has a hard head and can take a punch. It reminded me of Liddell and Silva where eventually Chuck gave up trying to knock the guy out because he knew he couldn’t. He just kept laying the heat and waited for the decision.

When he started celebrating the win with like 6 seconds left in the 3rd, I was less than impressed with his sportsmanship.
